might give it a shot later...but what's the main focus for it? Is it best for mp3s? movies? wares? etc.

For example, here's what i use for...

movies: edonkey2000 (edonkey2000.com)

mp3s: winmx (winmx.com)

wares/movies/etc: Direct Connect (www.neo-modus.com)

Also for instant messaging, i use TRILLIAN (http://trillian.cc)

I use eDonkey for apps. It's been getting a little slower lately, but you can't beat it. The other day I saw the entire Visual Studio .NET (all 8 CDs) available.

It's also good for your XXX divx.

I use Limewire. It works pretty good, and has some good features. It uses the Gnutella networks. Nothing has ever been as good as Napster was. I rarely find those "gems" that are hard to obtain.
