I found this chip on the site it says it will work on all mazda proteges from 91-03. Its called a Mazda Protege Computer Recalaberation kit. Has anyone heard of this?

I know someone on here had his chip reprogrammed. He's discussed recently in another thread, I can't recall where.

this is quite possibly the most uninformative thread ive read yet.
Do you have a link or more info on the chip? Once you do, put it on here and i'll tell you it doesnt work.

Sorry to be an ass, but this is just not good posting.

its probably for a non turbo protege, and chances are it just advances timing which would be very bad for our cars.
