Alpine MRV- F357 AMP

the manual will say what the required gauge size is. it is most likely 8 gauge. but are you planning on running more amps than this? if you are, i suggest doing a 4 gauge from the battery and then using a distribution block to send 8 gauge to the amps. of course, all depends on how much power you're running in total.

This will be my only amp running 4 speakers and a sub. Damn, I 'll have to rewire my car :( ...thanks

You guys think I got a good deal on this AMP? $150.00

Dont be cheap.. it will cost you alot more if you burn up the wire and catch your car on fire.. just get the 4ga.. call it a day.. this way no worries and it looks cooler..

Holy moly that's a pretty good deal for a 5 channel alpine. You'l definitely need 4ga. Check KNUKONCEPTZ for their kits and just add the pieces that you'll need to complete it.

I have an Alpine MRV-F340 4 channel amp and I bought 4ga power wire (knukonceptz). The problem is that the amp accepts 8ga (i.e. the hole is too small). What's the best option here...

Do i just thin down the 4ga to make it fit:confused:
