hey, glad i could help!! thats what i wrote it for. Yeah i had a problem with the female spades too, i think i might have ended up trimming them to make them narrower so they would fit in there.

    Mikebluep5,

I followed your plan and it works great for the fogs to be on with the parking lights or low beams.

Has anybody figured out how to keep fogs on with the high beams?

nope not yet, that i know of. I might crawl back under the dash and search for the wire that causes this to happen. I might wait until i get my alarm before i do it though. I will keep you guys updated if i figure it out.

I found a way to get all the lights to stay on but it by-passes the fog light switch.

If you follow mikebluep5's plan then you can make a jumper wire to connect the circuits in the switch, but it doesn't allow the use of the switch any more.

If you remove the side panel on the dash and remove the fog light swich you can see four wires go into it. One being the new red wire from Mikes plan or the stock black/green.

If you hold the switch so that the new red wire is on the lower left of the four wires then you can connect the lower right wire to the upper left wire while still attached to the fog light switch.

I am not going to do this method because I don't know what it'll do to the electrical system.

Mikes method works except the fogs go off if you turn on the high beams. The fogs will also go off if you have the parking lights on but you move the lever foward to the high beam position.

There is something between the relay, the fogs and the high beams that is causing the fogs to turn off. I will find it.

The front of the car looks AWESOME with all 6 lights on!

Can someone post a link that points me to the right place?

    Hey eggynatey,

It looks like all those cards have their side markers and fogs only. How did you guys do it?! Did you use the instructions here?

    Exclamation

    hey guys,

I just realized something. The original reason I was hesistant in trying this mod was that no one so far has accounted for the Daytime Running Lights here in Canada. Our headlights stay on ALL the time at a low setting. It's the law here.

So even if I do this mod, i have to find a way to kill the DRL's. Does anyone know how to do this?

Anyone have a workshop wiring manual for the Canadian version of the car?

After seeing all those cars with fogs & parking lights I had to add mine. I was feeling left out.

See page 2 of my homepage.

Y0sky.. Excellent how to. One question does this work on the '02 Protege LX's as well? I saw yours was a P5 so I was a bit concerned. Can anyone verify?
