Sorry for the clunk talk, but Mazda appears to have fixed my clunk

I bought my car with the clunk, took it in for warranty and they replaced all the bushings in the back and it's gone. We'll see how long it stays gone, but perhaps Mazda is using a different set of bushings now?

nope, it'll come back. lots of other people have had the bushings replaced but the clunk keeps coming back.

Ahh that sucks, well at least I can have clunk free driving for a little while, as like I said my car has ALWAYS had it.

Ok I am sure this is posted here and there but what exactly is the klunk. And I don't want everyone to freak out thinking this is another, "what is the flash" question. I know about the klunk problem but I just don't experience it on my car. Where in the car is it, how strong, and why the heck don't I experience it yet?

I drive my car soft and moderately hard, and she has about 8k miles on her.

why is everyone calling it 'klunk' now?

as if 50,000 clunk threads wasnt bad enough, we will have equal amounts of klunk threads.

whatever
