For my Mp5, I can't debate which aftermarket stereo head unit i want..

I was wondering what kinds you have..

I'm tryhing to look for something that has an auxiliary input...

Perhaps JVC?? I dunno.. i'm a n00b when it comes to stereo units.

Please include model # of head unit..

i used to have a clarion something but the model was a few years old. had aux in, 3 pre-outs, lots of good stuff. i say go with clarion

I can personally vouch for JVC's. I've had my KD-SX940 (has aux input on front) going on 4 years now and never had a problem. Only drawback - it has 2 preouts instead of 3, but this hasn't been a problem for me. If you don't plan having the mega sound system(this model has 2 preouts also) then the newer model KD-SX9350 would be a good reasonably priced choice. And it plays MP3s also.

The specs are here:

Not an awesome head unit, but it gets the job done with pretty decent sound. For the price ($175 at Crutchfield) I think it is a really good deal.

Later,
LOS
