Lack of power

I went up a mountain with my racing members.
My car was revving up hard but I didn't feel any power pushing my car. Man everybody passed me by and I was the last one who arrived the parking lot at the top.
1st= Hyundai Tuscani GS-R V6
2nd=Nissan Altima 3.5
3rd= Aruca RSX type S
4th= Mazda Protege ES
5th= Honda Prelude
6th= ME!! (Protege5)
Hyundai Tuscani was awesome. Crazy torque and power!

haha... harsh... but funny.

definitely downshift. it was the only way i was able to almost keep pace with a suburban at 7K feet elevation through the mountains.

I couldn't downshift from 3rd to 2nd.
Actually my car has sport-auto
When I tried to downshift, the "3" flashed and didn't change

I should have got a manual
Should I boost up the power even though mine is auto?
or save money and buy another manual car??

I've got the auto, and with 8 psi. Probably would help.

Though I don't see the point in racing up a mountain. That just sounds bad for a car.

lol, yeah.

our car isn't built for speed. you should have bought another car is you wanted more power.

the hyundai is fast but its a hyundai =D
