yes, i searhced. no, i didn't find the answers i was looking for. ;)

here is the stock info i have been able to gather:

ES/P5: ?F/?R <--- can't find this info anywhere
MP3: 215F/152R <--- from another thread
MSP: 145F/118R <--- obtained from mazdausa.com

the MP3 numbers can't be right unless the MSP uses softer springs...?????

anyone...anyone...bueller?

There is no way the MP3 is stiffer than the MSP.
The springs are supposed to be identical.
If Mazdausa tells you the MSP are those rates, then so is the MP3.
EDIT:
FANTASTIC find though for the MSP rates, I've been wondering that for a long time.

that's what i figured, but someone in another thread quoted those rates for the MP3.

i thought (or, rather, hoped) the MSP used stiffer springs than the MP3.
