OK, maybe I'm just dumb, but is there a way to select a specific CD using the 1-2-3-4-5-6 buttons instead of counting and pressing the up and down buttons?

I think you are asking waay to much from this $600 changer we both have paid for. Can you imaging ( I know you can ) owning a factory 6Disc indash changer that cannot shuffle play all 6? I was pissed to find out that is can only do random playing 1 cd at a time vs. random playing the entire assortment of cds you've thrown into your dash. Bummer!

If shuffle plays from all CDs, it takes too long to switch between songs because it's also switching CDs. That's what I've found with other CD players that will shuffle through all your CDs, any way.
