Driving In Snow With AWD

If you actually have 18” of snow, and probably wet snow in California, clearance is going to be the issue. It’s different with super light powder, but you guys get cement. We drive through fairly deep fresh snow, snow packed roads, and ice for months at a time. As several people have said, just drive, but it’s easy to overdrive your brakes with AWD. In cold weather, down around 0 or below, traction is great. When it gets warm, up around the freezing mark, that’s when it’s really slippery.
