2019 Signature - 2 clunks when opening drivers-side door

Hey everyone,

I've noticed within the past week or so my 2019 Signature drivers side door is making 2 clunk sounds when I am opening the door. None of the other doors make this sound.

Does anyone elses' door make the two clunking sounds and is it something I should have the dealer look at?

I've not noticed anything like that. If I did, I would head straight to the dealer to look at it.

Perhaps the door hinges need lubing?
i haven't experienced this in my car.

Check to see if the door checker is loose. We used to have them come from the factory loose. In some of the older Mazda*s. Some of the cx5*s have also been that way.

After googling what a Door Checker is, I believe this might be the issue.

I'll double check tomorrow when I'm in the daylight to see if I see any play or anything there.

Ya I think it*s just 2 bolts one or both may be a little loose.
And no problem !
