Poll: Gauging interest for CX-9 dash cam wiring kit

    Hi 247!

I build custom mirror-to-dashcam wiring adapters for all kids of vehicles. I recently completed a one-off dash cam adapter for a fellow Mazda enthusiast. He successfully used my 10-pin adapter on his CX-5 (see his Reddit thread here) but wanted something for his CX-9 which used a frameless mirror and connector hidden by a plastic shroud. We came up with this prototype:

He sounded pretty happy with the result and I'm confident the unit will last for years to come. One small production change will to make the adapter even more compact. Now... this mirror currently lives on the Signature trim levels across the range which overall has low sales numbers... Are any of you guys interested in seeing this product come to market?

Price will be $25 shipped (this forum only), ETA early Dec. I have a minimum bulk order requirement from my contractor to make this happen so I need a resounding YES from the board to add it to this month's production run!

I already have an Invisicord for my setup, but my question is: would you offer one that has a constant 5V to enable parking mode on some dashcams?

My question is would/or could this work for a non-frame less mirror (i.e. 2016 model), It's all I got and don't mind the way I wired my dash-cam for now but this is amazing!

I can do a one-offs if interested, PM me if you want one. Itís literally just changing one pin but I donít typically sell these to people because though... Iíd recommend a deep-cycle battery in your car which stay healthy after repeated discharging.

Hey Numbahz, I have an adapter readily available on Amazon for the framed mirrors. Check the link in my sig and youíll find a link for the 10-pin Type A adapter for which I have many Mazda customers!
