Ex WC Protege for sale $12000 USD (SOLD)

Ex World Challenge Mazda Protege for Sale. One of the 2 cars built by OPM Autosports and campained in 2002 and 2003 to compete against Real Time Acura*s and BMW*s in Touring class. These cars were driven by Chuck Hemmingson and Paul Bonaccorsi . Winner*s at Road Atlanta, Trois-Rivieres and Mosport in 2002 they ran among the top of the field. Originally fitted with 2.0L NA engines, they were converted to KLZE V6 and then ran again among top runners in CTCC Touring class in Canada. In 2013 it was fitted back with 2.0L FS engine but this time in FS-DET trim to gain in reliability over the high reving 2.0L NA and be able to achieve more power and torque than the KLZE. Raced different events of the SPC championship in 2013-2014-2015 2017 and 2019. Got several podiums and a win. The engine setup was build with the best components available and with the support of Tom Bork of Doc B Racing. These cars were simply top of the line cars built with revised suspension geometry, all around rod ends and spherical bearings. Ajustable control arms, Moton shocks, Motec ECU etc. The motor setup alone has cost 12000$ CAD excluding ECU
