No affiliation. Saw this and thought I would pass it along. I have the factory hitch on my CX-5, but Stealth makes a good product. These run about $600. https://stealthhitches.com/products/hyundai-palisade-2019-present They are looking for a CX-9 to build the template, so the first person who can apply and bring your CX-9 to Georgia, you get a free hitch. It says 2017+ but I believe the 2016 model is the same.

Worthwhile for those near GA. Seems expensive considering that you can get the Curt / Drawtite systems for $150.

That style can be removed when not towing to maintain the ground clearance. The factory hitch ($450) is fine, my only gripe is it's a 1.25" hitch instead of 2". Though I wish it was mounted a little higher, it maintains more ground clearance than the Curt or Draw Tite which stick out underneath the bumper cover. Aesthetics matter as well.
