Sway bar link lengths

:
2002 Mazda Protege5
So I bought what I guess is the non-sport rear sway bar link length because it is 8.5-8.75 inches and I just noticed the ones on my rear suspension are 7.5 inches. Im replacing the strut units so will this make a significant difference with ride quality/stability?

Im going to get the car alignment done on Monday but will driving with longer sway bar links pose any risks until the alignment?

Never mind.. answered my own question. It will have a big impact on the alignment since it is forcing/pushing the wheel more forward. Back to buying replacements.

The longer links will have the potential to hit the lateral arm. The pro5 uses the shorter links. Also, look for moog k80863. They are thicker and have grease fittings
