Upgrading my 2019 Grand Touring with Active Driving Display

:
2010 CX-9 GT AWD
I was thinking about upgrading ADD on my 6 but unsure how or what the connection would be.
I opened the cover and found out there is a connector with a termination plugged in.
I googled and it came up with the term heads-up display. I called my dealer parts dept and they told the part number which match online search results.
There is two parts needed
GRF5-55-HU0B Display Head Up
GRF5-55-41XA Upper Cover
I made the order and parts will arrive tomorrow.
One last thing I need to verify is the control/setting tab on display will show up or not.
What I would expect, the tab would be activated when new part plugged in. Will see!
To be continued...

I have ordered these parts. Waiting for them to arrive.

Still waiting for cable to arrive.
Just found out, windshield is different for HUD and non-HUD display.

I'm curious of the costs of all these bits and pieces.

I had seen someone do similar on a Mazda3 somewhere in my travels. They did require some reprogramming of the car's computer "as-built" data for the car to recognize it had a HUD and offer up the adjustability options in infotainment.

All parts cost me total $966.52 to be exact.
What you need:
GRF5-55-HU0B Display Head Up
GRF5-55-41XA Upper Cover
GBEF-67-SH0 Wire
There is part number for screws but you can buy them from any auto parts store. You need 4.
So, I got all parts I needed. i removed terminal cable from existing connector and plugged the HUD in.
It worked. AP-Disp tab appeared on display when you go to setting. I can see projection from the HUD.
Technically, it is Plug-n-Play but installation is another story.
I get into another issue when it comes to install the HUD. I have tried from bottom and even removed brake pedal assembly, but there was not enough clearance to put the HUD in place.
Also, there is no go from the top without removing instrument panel and cluster. I am researching to find the way to remove them in near future.
The wife is driving 6 now since her car is in shop.
I really appreciate it if someone happen to have some kinds of workshop or body removal/installation manuals.
