We recently purchased a 2019 CX-5 GT. I also have a 2019 MX-5. I like the more compact, but wider screen on the CX-5, but I was surprised that all of that extra width seems to just be a huge bezel and not actually part of the display. I always assumed it was a wider aspect ratio that would really be nice with the upcoming iOS 13 CarPlay Dashboard.
