2018 Hyundai Elantra has a better radio display than Mazda3

I had to leave my Mazda3 for repairs and got a 2018 Hyundai Elantra as a loaner.
So I am driving this - and I figured it would be so nice - to have the same type of outlay for all radio stations buttons on Mazda3.

Mazda3 has so many issues that Elantra feels like a luxury car offering buttons exactly where they are needed.
Elantra has a vertical list of favorites on the left - while the currently played station is on the right center with huge numbers showing the frequency.
Then, under the frequency played - you see info about what's played etc.
On top of the frequency number they got big buttons for the HD substations.

It is SO EASY to navigate and SO EASY to change stations.
Mazda3 screwed up the radio outline so badly - that is quite hard to believe.
I am actually quite annoyed by my radio in my Mazda3.
Now after driving Elantra - it is going to be even more annoying.

Who cares about proprietary software?

Google play/Apple CarPlay is the great equalizer.

Really, if you, as all of the magazine and youtube writers/testers have done, compared all aspects of the two cars, you'd find that the Mazda 3 is:

Much quieter
Better riding
More reliable (Consumer Reports)
Better handling

I'll take these things over some extra radio features, any day. Besides, I load up a USB stick with music and listen. I don't need to know who the artist is or what the album looks like, since those are more distractions that I don't need.
