Has anyone calibrated as to where it should be after resting the car overnight?
I had it changed at the dealer - they had to do it twice to get the black color removed. Manual says check it when the engine is warm and running. I did once went back to them since it was little higher - they dismissed it rightly or wrongly. I was thinking that given the fluid is goig to stay there for 70k or so, little higher means I do not have to top it off - so it was ok for me then.
When I last checked, of course it was resting and engine was cold. It was about 1" to 1.25" above the max level. Is it ok to leave it that way? Any other thoughts?
