How to tell what Mazda Firmware version?

How can I tell what firmware version my car has? Which version do I need to install Apple CarPlay?

At Home screen, go to Settings (right-most icon), then go to the last tab.
One of the choices will tell you that.

Your version won't support CarPlay.
You MUST update the firmware before installing the hardware or your infotainment will go into a boot-loop.
You need version 70.XXX or higher.
The latest version is 70.335.
Again ... install the firmware BEFORE installing the hardware.

I found this. Hopefully this will tell me exactly what I need to do to update the firmware. I haven't watched it yet, but what do I need for the update?

Where can I find the file for the upgrade? Is it in the Mazda website?

upgraded today..didn't recognize 1st flash drive, 2nd worked like a charm.
