That does look a lot cleaner but I don't see the top of the piston in the picture.

No !! Not at all !!

Get the proper plugs and good coils and fix your leaky injector and you'll be rolling again !@

Running half a can of seafoam in the crankcase and half a can in a full tank will clear a bunch of the top layer carbon deposits. Might free up your oil rings if there's any tension left in them.

That sucks and I'm kinda stumped.

The P0300 has more possible causes too.

Yeah I'm ready to just get rid of the car. I'm done putting money into it when I'm just going to sell it.

Cleared the code made sure everything was tight and it drives fine now. So no idea hopefully it stays off while I sell it.

    Well, that's good news.

You may have had a couple of slightly fouled cylinders that just needed to clear themselves out.

That fouled cylinder you posted a picture of should clean itself up with some good clean combustion.

Just pull the bulb out of the check engine light lol. Or, I know guys that used to wire the check engine light bulb in with the battery light bulb. that way when you turn the key on, engine off, the CEL would turn on like normal. but no more pesky CEL.

so what ended up being the fix? hopefully it stays fixed!
