My 3 year standard warranty just ran out and apparently I missed the latest update to the infotainment system. So was wondering should I spend the $$ now to get latest update (my current version is the middle of last year) or maybe wait a year or so for more updated maps?

definitely use it on the aa/carplay upgrade the mazda nav isnt any good compared to being able to use waze/google maps
Well.. Thats something I didn't think of. So... if I went that route, is data (using Waze) being used all the time, or only when you Have a route set up?
I know that with Google maps a trip could be pre installed so no data charges, but of course, nothing real time.
