When I was a kid I walked 10 miles to school.......

:
13' CX-5 and 16' Mazda6 both Touring w/Tech/Bose
Man I feel like a grandpa. I remember back in 2012 when we purchased our 2013 CX-5.

We didn't have turbo's. We had 155HP to work with!!
We didn't talk to each other on the highway..we yelled since the cabin was loud.
We didn't have sport mode...we downshifted.
We didn't use our driver side mirror....it shook too much to use.
We didn't have remote start......we had Nike's.
We didn't have Android Auto....we had Tom tom LOL
We didn't have smart City braking......we paid attention

Now get off my lawn!!

I am trying to rekindle the CRV vs CX-5 threads. Those were golden times.

I had a 2013, it never felt under powered. I now have a 2015, 2.5. The extra power is nice, but the 2.0 did fine.

1) We tried to watch porn but didn't have a paid service. The pictures were snow flakes and there was barely any audio. My cousin would try to get the reception by holding the antenna.

Ah, my heart is warmed and my funny bone tickled! This all is the sense of humor too often missing from these type of forums! Bravo to you all! (yippy)

This reminds me of why I was so quick to trade my 2015 when the fuel pump failed. No excuse for those issues in 2015.

Me erry day driving to and from work, lol! 2013 Sport, 67k miles :D

My dad taught me how to swim by tossing me in the lake.

I learned fast enough, once I got out of that sack.

Be careful. We had a really interesting debate about carbon emissions and the environment and it got locked down even in the lounge area. Humour is off topic.

I agree the power is adequate. The 2.0's peak power and TQ are set later in the rev range vs the 2.5. That said, back in 2012 who else had BSM, HID's that swivled, shark fin antenna's, and good driving dynamics? Nobody in its class but the CX-5.

That was sort of the dark Internet back in the day LOL.

I remember my dad having a Ford Pinto and later a Pontiac Lemans. I'm just glad I got out the sack before he sold his Pinto.

Then we got 185 hp and we loved it, then some still complained "no powah!!!111!!1"

Just the way some people talk around here you'd think the 2.5L SkyActiv was the most underpowered thing ever.

I read a lot of those comments when I was shopping last year, so took another test drive to specifically pay attention to that "issue." I got out on the interstate (70MPH) and kept up with/passed folks with no problem.

Now, if I were passing on a single lane highway with a semi bearing down the opposite direction, I'm not certain if I would be of the same mindset. But there are few cars I would not feel that way about.

There was a discussion I saw on quora or yahoo regarding what the average 0-60 speed is for all cars. Some say 9-10 seconds.
