So I finally did the upgrade through the dealer. Couldn't be happier. Firstly v70 fixes a few things (such as BT album art) and is snappier. But wow Android Auto, love it. I noticed a few things and wanted to share them to see if any solution would exist that I missed while researching this board.
That's pretty much it. I am very happy with the upgrade. Assistant integration is superb and everything is fast.

- Plugging the phone too early won't work (or leaving plugged and turning off/on the car)
- Cannot change AA spoken language (Takes OS lang to read SMS, driving directions, etc.)
- Infotainment settings, unchecking AA permanently disables AA (had to factory reset)
- No auto-zoom in Maps when on highway (didn't fully test though)
- AA won't auto-open over Mazda Infotainment unless it was opened before last shutting down the infotainment/car.
That's pretty much it. I am very happy with the upgrade. Assistant integration is superb and everything is fast.
