Prior to Android Auto I had issues with sender of text messages not being properly displayed (see threads https://www.mazdas247.com/forum/sho...Message-Name-Display-is-Incorrect-2018-CX5-GT and https://www.mazdas247.com/forum/sho...correct-text-message-name-can-t-figure-it-out) which still persists (though I have not upgraded to the lates Pie Update). However since I got the Android Auto kit I use it almost exclusively so it hasn't been as damning to me as AA does show the correct sender. But now I realize that AA will display text messages if they are {I assume} SMS messages- that is messages to me only. However if I receive a message that is part of a group text (presumably sent MMS) that does not come through on Android Auto at all. Now I am trying to figure out if it too is specific to the phone make/model like the previously mentioned threads, or the carrier (Sprint), the Android Auto app or something else?
