hollowed out cat

so the front cat on my p5 is hollowed out. I need to pass smog. a new cat is 260+ is there anything i could do to get it to pass with just the back cat?

Try checking the junkyards around your area for a used one to swap it with. Maybe craigslist or ebay/used?
If you have instagram check out @jp_parts
He is on facebook (lingers around the protege pages) as well.
98% sure he'll be able to find one for you. I just ordered roof rack delete strips from him, he'll likely be able to get what you need.
