is Seat Belt Button covered under warranty?

I'm assuming the little black seat belt button that prevents the buckle from sliding to the floor is covered by the bumper to bumper warranty (bought a 2018 cx9 gt last Feb 2018). Accidentally closed the driver door not once, but twice on my seat belt & it broke the button. I guess i could just buy one & do it myself

The part should be covered--but don't tell them you closed it in the door. THAT won't be covered...
