2014 CX5, wipers will not function when in Auto mode. Turns out Rain sensor is no longer sealed against glass. And the little bracket that holds the sensor flush has separated from the sticky tape on the bottom. I tried to glue it ontop of the tape, no good. And I rather not completely detach the bracket, since top of bracket is still solidly attached to the glass.
So how do I replace the tiny strip of sticky tape? Any help or ideas? I assume the thickness of the sticky tape has to be precise. Is there a kit that dealer makes to remedy this issue?
