Moved to the Lounge - Question about HVAC dual mode control panel and possible issue

Hi Folks,

I have a 2010 Touring with the automatic dual mode HVAC and I am having an issue that it blows slightly warm air on both the driver and passenger side regardless of how cold I set the temperature. I have checked the charge in the A/C and it does seem fine and the compressor is cycling on as expected. I also got inside and under the dash and the various actuators for blend, mode and recirculate are all working as well.

This leads me to believe the controls may be the problem and I'm just wondering if anyone else had the same issue in the past and had to replace the control panel?

PS - I have done some searching for this exact issue and found several similar, but none matching the problem I seem to be having. I hope there's more traffic here in the Lounge and that someone can chime in.

Are there dampers that open and close for hot air or cool air? Are the hot air dampers closing fully? The problem could be the actuator or the seal around the damper. If the controls give the correct signal to the actuator but the dampers don't shut tightly, you'll get what you describe.
