20" Wheel of CX9 Signature 2018 on 2019 CX5

:
CX5
I'm considering to get the 20 inch wheel of cx9 2018 and install it on my cx5 with 255/45 R20 (+1% of the stock's diameter) tire since I feel they look better on CX5. And also thinking about the handling aspect, the cx5 signature turbo would handle better with slightly wider tire. Mazda gave the same wheel/tire settings from the non turbo versions which are 200lbs lighter to the turbo cx5 and I believe that has some impact on the handling feel for the turbo awd compared to the non turbo fwd one.

Does anyone have any experience with having 20inch cx9 2018 signature wheel on cx5 before?

Since the CX5 is shocked and sprung for the 18 inch wheel, I'd be concerned about the ride hardness with a 45 series tire. Ed

Personally, I wouldn't do it. The OEM 20" wheels are really heavy (39.55 lbs). If you want to go up to a 20" wheel, you might as well buy an aftermarket alloy wheel or maybe look into the alternative 20" wheel offered by Mazda (28 lbs for the 20x8.5). Here's a pic:
