    GT Spec Trunk Brace

I have a trunk brace for a Sedan what piece do I need to convert it to be able to use it for a P5? Is it possible without the piece has anyone modified anything to be able to mount it to a hatchback?

I know it's a long shot and if I cant do it then I'll just keep it in my sedan but I'll be driving my hatch more than my sedan.

IIRC, trunk cage for hatch attaches to rr stb somehow and is shaped different than the sedan version. Trunk cage is only gt spec part missing from my car. I just never went after it because I didn't want to clutter up the hatch area any more than just having the stb back there. Here is a pic of it....kinda....doesn't show floor piece but you can see how it affixes to stb on each side.....

Totally different. You cant modify to fit without extensive cutting, welding etc, and Im not even sure thats possible. Not worth the trouble.

yeah im not gonna even try your right, it won't be worth it, at that point I would be better off making a whole new brace, and well im not skilled enough to craft something like that.

thanks for the offer but im gonna hold onto it for when I finally get my sedan back up and running. Its a rare piece you can't find once I let it go ill never see one again. I know ill probably never get my hands on a wagon cage but ill keep my fingers crossed.
