2016 CX9 Sport, Touring, GT, Signature Seats

Hi

I am looking to purchase leatherette seat covers directly from Mazda. I am curious whether Sport seats are the same as the Touring, GT, and Signature besides the leather.

The dealer codes state that the touring, GT, and signature covers will not fit the sport model. Wanted to see if that was someone in marketing making the decision or if the seats are different.

The difference between the sport covers and the touring, gt, and signature is that the sport side holsters are cloth, and everything else leatherette, while the touring, GT, and signature is all leatherette.
