I always like sharing pictures of some of my DIY home projects because they look so bad during the beginning stages makes me look like a DIY "RICER" modder.
So in these pictures most of the basic gauge wiring was done. Really it was just attaching connectors and installing the convoluted wire protection. I have not yet cut the finish plate out yet and like to do all the fitting on the template.

When the new gauge mount is finished the console will be dissembled to re-upholster the red/brown with Panther Black Leather and closed cell firm padding unlike the thin Mazda padding used throughout most Mazda's.

I never liked this color combo MAZDA had, BLACK and cream or white color interior trims and head liner. What were they thinking? hahahaha!

Thanks good info for others. I talked to them. They want to waaaaay much f$$$$$ or what I can do myself and maybe better? (conceit lol ) f. I build my own gauge pillar pods for almost anything

I choose to build a panel in the console area. for a transmission temperature gauge that will have a dual sender to be able to switch from 1-4 different temperature sensors. And a D-Pic so I can see exactly what the MAZDA will do with any upgrades I might do to the suspension in the future. Plus the D-Pic is like a little light show at night. LOL Gotta have my "BLING"!

    PM sent

    Updated template cut out.

Switch panel start of the wire for the new panel to control the gauges and senders.

Well that sucks. I know that it is on a few forums but I looked and they are all in the member user area's. The moderator of that forum passed away leaving no moderator over a year ago. The owner has not been back on to assign a new moderator. The new membership activation has been disabled so there have been no new members on that forum in over a year. To bad because that was a very active forum for new members and such and is also one of the few remaining forums for that plat form on car.
I may just start a thread in the other car part of this forum? It is just a PIA to post all those pictures.
    I will picture this.
IMHO a actual functioning CAI for a Skyactive 2.5 Normally Aspirated Engine that will regulate the intake air up to the plastic intake manifold to equal the ambient in most all engine operating conditions. There are parts I am not showing that must be included to make it work. For obvious reasons somewhere in the world people like to copy others design ,market it calling it their own and making money on someone else idea's. Without know what and how the other parts are this is just another "Frankenstein" CAI that you commonly see offered.

Hard to think all this wire for 2 simple gauge and 2 switches. All but 3 wires are posted and I have not labeled the wires yet fr the wiring diagram schematic.

I order a replacement dash panel to install the switch panel so I can have everything mounted and then swap out the panel. This work better then pulling the panel and modding and installing the switch panel.

Hope that forum gets revived. The wealth of info there should be shared.
On CAI, have you seen AEM's 2.0 MT specific one?
