2013 CX-9 tire life

I just bought a used 2013 CX-9. It only has 30,000 km (18,750 miles) on it. Tunisia's weather is pretty moderate, without ice or snow where we live, but the tires look a bit "checked/worn."

I'm sure the tires are original. Should I be thinking of replacing them, though they haven't been driven much?

Your wisdom/experience/perspective would be appreciated. Thank you!

A good rule of thumb for tire age-life in the U.S. is 6 years in the southern states ranging to 10 years in the northern states. The sun takes its toll. Tunisia is at about the same latitude as the southern U.S., so that 6 year rule is a good one. Buy new tires for your safety.
