After looking at various threads and publications, I think that my next initiative to improve my CX-5's performance, would be to find a reliable shop in So. Arizona that could tune it. I want to get more of that legendary 'ZoomZoom' feeling out of my car. Any fellow Mazda CX-5 ers that live in Southern AZ that could recommend a good, reliable shop where to get tuning process done.

Thanks !!

There are only a handful of people on the net who are ECU tuning the Denso/Mitsu ecus in the cx5. The software options are limited so it's highly unlikely that you will find a local person to do it. Pretty much remote tuning is your only option.

Orange Virus tuning was pretty much the original tuner for skyactiv platform and is now worldwide. Can't go wrong.

There is a guy named Daniel Routley who does tuning as well 'DrTuned". He came out after ovtuned though. You can find him on the various Mazda3 forums and FB pages.

Many Thanks Chris_Top_Her,

I will continue pursuing those options. Maybe I will end up finding someone in Southern Arizona that is available and qualified to perform tuning. Will Dr Tuned do a remote tuning process?

Regards and Greetings from Tucson AZ

This is an update posted on the Orange Virus FB Page:

"Starting January 2019 OVTune will be dedicating all of our resources for Toyota (Tacoma, Tundra, etc) Tuning and prioritizing our updates and work with I0Tech software. For any current customer who has a non Toyota car that we tune, we will still keep you updated and supported. We will just no longer be servicing new cars in the future."
That wipes out the option to reach out to Orange Virus for any possibilities with getting remote tuning for Mazda CX-5...(shrug)(shrug)

Yea I saw that too. I'm hoping it's just a marketing ploy or temporary. Otherwise DRTuned will now be the go to guy. I assume that DRTunes does remote tuning, but I've never really looked into his service. It's pretty much a mix on the mazda 3 FB pages between DR and OVT for skyactiv tuning... OVT was one of the original skyactiv tuner, DRt is newer. Here is their fb page. https://m.facebook.com/drtunedracing/

That just means the newer Mazdas right? Not like that demo is probably looking to tune anyway.

I emailed Burger motorsports, about possible jb4 support for the Mazda 2.5 turbo, said they are always open to new platforms. Asked for photos of MAP and TMAP sensors, I don't own a mazda, maybe someone here can contact them?

Good call on Burger. I had JB4's on my old N54 BMW's. Great bang for the buck mod. No CEL's or any other issues. Very easy to install and remove. I would have a great deal of confidence in their ability to safely tune a Mazda 2.5T.

Yeah, they have an excellent reputation, we are thinking about getting a CX5 Signature in a couple of months, this would be a great option!
