I don't know if I missed this or not, but the official zoom-zoom Mazda magazine states that Mazda will launch two new electric vehicles in 2020—one powered purely by a battery and the other featuring a rotary engine as a range extender. Kinda shocked that this is not getting more press.

This is nice to know. in Europe they really started to switch to electric cars. Right now I am looking to buy apartment in Marbella and I noticed several Mazdas on the roads here. Plus surprisingly saw some electric Toyaotas and several Teslas ))) I am currently in a Double Tree hotel in Fuengirola and one of their garage floors is equipped ONLY for Tesla cars with branded charges and so on. This is the future of car industry.
Yeah, this made news and did not get much attention. I am of the mind that we will see a Toyota E-engined vehicle coming from Mazda.
At the same time, I would say that I would take what Mazda says with a grain of salt. They said a Diesel version of the CX-5 was coming to the USA - in 2017!
Sky-X won't be in the USA till 2020 or maybe even 2021 now.
