    Shadows on Infotainment Display

I have a 2018 CX-5 Grand Touring that I bought new about 3 months ago. The infotainment display is really distracting at times, with these white, wispy lines in the background. It gets worse depending on the time of day. A friend insists that it was Mazda's attempt at having "clouds" in the display. Personally, I don't need "clouds" in my navigation system or when I have song titles displayed. Any thoughts? Thinking about bringing the car in, but if it is actually part of the design then I don't want to waste the time.

Part of the design. Play with the brightness and contrast ratios to lessen it but it won’t fully go away. I dont like it either.

I never noticed those lines until I read this thread.
    So, thanks a lot.
