New Subaru Forester surprisingly got into the top 2 spot for the first time in years..

Overall Mazda and Holden(GM) defied all other manufacturers to post increased sales for the month in comparison, whilst all other manufacturers continued the slump in sales.

In other news, Mazda slumps to $19.4M second quarter loss due to production issues.

Holy crap?!? Is that a typo? #1: 52000... #2....2000?!?!

Apparently yes... I swear that said 52000. OP, did you typo? Tell me I'm not crayzay.

It's 2000, not 52000!

It's just the dodgy format. Looks OK on a desktop PC but saw it on phone with tapatalk and there was no space between the 5 and 2000. Sorry.

How did sales of the CX-5 go in the US ?

Just realized no one posted the US sales for October?!? We almost always do that. and M8te even asked.
NOT a good October in the US....for Mazda cars.
Total sales 18K. That's -10% vs Oct 2017.
YTD sales through October are up 8%.
Extra day in October 18 so DSR (Daily Selling Rate) = -13%

Of ourse these numbers were brought down by the US's seeming abandonment of cars.
CX3 = +3.1%
CX5 = +14.7%
CX9 = +3.9%

3 -22.1%
6 -16.4%
Miata -31.1%

Meanwhile in Mexico, best October in Mazda's history selling over 5,000 vehicles: +11%''

Excellent. Cheers for the info. Let's hope the momentum swings back up for Mazda this month in the US. Will wait and see.
