I'd opt to not replace mine. This board and all the people here led to me replacing mine at something north of 80K miles I believe, and the only difference was to my bank account and 20 minutes of my time. Runs 100% identical. 100% identical fuel economy. 100% identical everything, and the plugs I removed gapped within 0.001" of spec. Waste of money and time.

Why did you replace them anyway? If you have a rough idle itís the first thing Iíd suggest checking before going elsewhere. Just pull them out and check for build up. ďNo loadĒ racing or cleaning with gasoline could be your fix. But if you donít have an issue to begin with, like you said, donít fix what isnít broke. Or just replace according to schedule as preventative maintenance.

Fair enough, I'll say that if you don't have a problem, don't change them.

Replacing spark plugs at the recommend 75,000 miles is for preventive maintenance. You can also not to change the factory engine coolant at recommended 120,000 miles or 10 years without immediate issues, but eventually it would cause problems. Another example is the ATF change. Although you believe itís not necessary, but those used ATF analysis reports from BlackStone show the ATF does wear out over time.

Agreed. Though in the future I'll replace the spark plugs with the cheaper NGK variety. The OEM's I purchased had the same model number as the NGK's printed right on it, but it was like double the price.

Could be placebo affect, I don't know, but I do feel like mine runs better since replacing them. Feels a bit more peppy to me and wasn't lagging ass in some situations anymore. I agree everybody is different. Different driving styles, etc.
