Mazda Demio Sport 2007
Hi there,

I have seen mention of rear drum to disc conversions in some of the threads here but I haven't come across an how to or links to any kits. I am hoping someone can help me out with this? I have a 2007 Mazda Demio (M2) Sport.

Cheers

BUMP again,

@cosh68 I've been trying to get in contact with gold coast automotive but no luck so far. Does anyone know of any other solutions where rear discs can be fitted without going full-in on a wilwood conversion? Trying to get my car ready for hillclimbs in the new year but the rear drums definitely need an upgrade before then.

Maybe a different approach would be to swap the whole rear end with a mk6 fiesta ST, the mounts should line up under the body... But now you have different PCD's in front and back, and need to adress the ABS sensor situation.

I'm sure this could be pulled off (if the mounts line up, I would need to have the two rear ends side by side to be sure). To adress the PCD you would need to bring the hubs to a shop, turn down the OD, push out the original studs and drill new holes at 4x100mm for the new studs.

Maybe if you have the tools and a mk6 fiesta st for parts this would be a good option... otherwise we're better off making custom mounts for calipers...
