Will a Protege5 Catback fit on an MSP?

The question is: Will a Catback (Muffler, rear pipe) from a Protege5 be a bolt-on fit to an MSP?

From what I gather through reading on this forum, the Protege5 exhaust is a few inches shorter than the MSP?

The Catback systems I have in mind are below:

    https://www.evasivemotorsports.com/m...iABEgIo9_D_BwE

    or

    https://frsport.com/megan-racing-mr-...yABEgLsUvD_BwE

I've done my due diligence on the search - looking for confirmation and/or insight on installation ease or difficulty.

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, it should but will be several inches short of the rear bumper.

I know this as I have put an msp axel back on a p5 and it hangs out a good amount. ( Bolts and hangers appear identical ).

Thanks so much for the information, horseflesh!

May I ask how you got the name "horseflesh"? seems there might be a good story behind it...

Would you or anyone else on here have a pic of the Protege5 exhaust on an MSP, or vice versa? Additionally, if you can include any/all modifications you made to make it fit.

    Thanks in advance everyone

I took one for the team and sacrificed my hard earned coin to verify fitment. My results are that the protege5 exhaust does fit the MSP and follows the correct tunnel path below the car. Only difference is that the exhaust tip is 4-5" short of making it out beyond the rear bumper.
