Install Block Heater in Mazda cx5 2013

Hi
Can come help me or give me guide about how to install new block heater in Mazda cx5 2013

I went to dealership , they said my click heater wire burnt , so they suggested me to replace full unit and with labour told me $300, which is alot

If someone help me , may be I can open block heater and replace cable by myself and save some money

Metal rod that heats up inside the engine block (conduction) to warm the engine up making it easier to start in cold climates.

Here in Sweden, these are quite common and a Swedish company called Calix offers the type that does not need you to make a hole in the engine block. The heater is connected to the radiator pipe and warms and circulates radiator water through the engine block.

I think it is doable (DIY) by yourself.
