Certified Used warranty 7yrs/100k transferable?

i am "selling" my 2016 Mazda CX-5 to my older daughter.

She lives 600 miles away in another state where she is working towards her PhD.

I bought the Mazda as a Certified used from a local Mazda dealer.

In negotiating the sale, the dealership extended the Certified warranty to 7yrs/100k miles.

I really like the 2016 CX-5.

I want to "transfer" the Certified warranty to my daughter when she registers the car in her present residence.

Is the Certified warranty transfereable?

If so, how is that done?

What he said^^^. And if you have any questions, there must be an 800# to contact the Mazda warranty dept for answers.

Lol I see you*re getting a lot of help. Here*s a link to the Mazda CPO website, which indicates it IS transferable for free but doesn*t say how. Fair to assume the first step is contacting the dealer.
