Peel and Stick Dash Kits?

:
2018 Mazda CX-9 GT
Anyone have any luck with a good brand of them, I've run into an issue with the Rvinyl.com one's I purchased, they suck. I cleaned and then used the 3m primer and it still bubbled, and this is after trying it a second time. The glue was a pain in the butt too to get off, so I tried GlueGone only to find out it was too strong and started stripping the gloss off the black trim pieces and also the black off of the window buttons (sigh.)

So basically looking to get a kit to cover up how ugly the door trim is now on all 4 of my doors that is good quality.

Look at the carid dash kits. The B&I look nice. If you install can you take some pictures and share?

Went with the small B&I South American Real Rosewood kit, 3-4 weeks and ill have pictures.

I*m really interested in getting one of those kits but I*m worried about the quality. I*ll wait until you post your pictures.

Hi all sry fell off the face of the earth lol, here are the pictures of the real rosewood trim kit installed. I'm not sure if I like everything , i may end up taking some pieces off but overall I am very please. Can you take some of the pieces off without damaging the underlying (original) plastic finish?

Im definitely digging the pieces around the shifter and the door panels. Ill probably end up going with this but itd have to be something like carbon fiber or some shade of black as the signature trim already has some wood accents. Did it also come with pieces for the 2nd row door panels?

The 2nd row had the cup holder , a rectangular piece between the vents and then the two door trim pieces.

Hi all I just got my Dark wood pieces installed; I got the large kit but decided against using all the pieces; here is a picture of the center console

The grey wood trim looks nice.

One thing about these is they won't work in the signature because of the real wood already present. Mainly because it would have to be an exact match to the look of the matte rosewood. These kits are glossy although maybe there's matte versions.

Checked the website (Carid) and there's like 28 finishes. I was surprised. There's even piano black if you just want to preserve the original look. Either get it early to protect the original piano black from scratches or you could buy it later to cover up the scratched surfaces.

That looks very nice.

The overlay pieces are obviously higher than than the stock trim. Do they look like they're stuck on once they're applied or do they look stock?

They are a bit raised but they have slightly curved edges; so it looks and feels just like the trim piece of a car with wood; the cut is fairly good. I only did the windows switches; and center console; the rear cup holder looked a bit out of place; also i could not stand the look of the speedo trim.

Is there one of the smaller kits that has fewer of the parts that you didn't use?
