Traded in my '17 Mazda 3 GT a little earlier than planned for this:

Had it for a year now. No regrets.

Currently have 2-car garage. CX-5 and Mazda6. If we upgrade to a 3-car garage home....that 3rd spot is for a used Miata.

Soccer van. 2017 Honda Odyssey Special edition. Stock tires were shot at less than 20k, so I had to put brand new tires on a leased vehicle lol. That’s ok, my wife and I will probably purchase it at lease end. Installed a transmission cooler on it myself and read up thoroughly on ATF changes and VCM “muzzling” on OdyClub. Aside from expensive 100k maintenance (timing belt, water pump, etc) it should be a great vehicle to own to haul grandparents and two daughters around with.

The pictured production badge is on the promotional car that was first shown at the Chicago auto show.
The actual cars haven't been produced yet.
Of the 3,000 that will be made, only 500 of the cars are coming to the United States.
We're informed that the numbers won't be sequential by country, but the information I read indicates that they will be assigned in order-sequence within the U.S.
Having ordered my car early in the process has me hoping that I'll receive a lower number than those who came after or are on the waiting list.

As an aside; my RF LE has the lowest known VIN of any launch edition in the country.
The enthusiast whose car was the first delivered at the L.A. auto show over two years ago received VIN 00342. My car is VIN 00341!
My guess is that Mazda flew two cars into L.A. for the show in case one was damaged in transit.
It was just dumb luck (and an arrangement with the owner of my dealership group) that I received the car originally designated for him when mine was delayed.

Butterwheels--sweet ride though I'd have one(specifically RF) happily but not yet..

This thread is killing me right now..down to 1 since X1 lease was up in Nov.. I've got a (nearly) 100k CX-5 and no fun car- so it'll be almost certainly the Veloster N (need a usable back seat for my 8yr old car nut) just not sure which will come first- fun car or CX-5 successor..

I may wait till MY20 to see if they bring heated seats(Canadians get already- bastards) and maybe another color or 2. If I buy in the next month or 2 and settle for white or black sans heated seats and they do one of those 2 things I'll be pissed I didn't wait..even though both are fixable problems.

1984 Toyota Supra 5MT- oh what a feelin!
1991 Toyota MR2T 6MT- Awesome- fun AND dangerous
2002 MB C230 Coupe 6MT- 1st new car(chosen over GTI)- good until gremlins
    +enter bad driveway
2006 Acura TL 6MT (shortest ownership by far 1year of tq steer&driveway fails>enough)
    2007 Honda CR-V AWD EX-L -boring excellence
2009 BMW 128i 6MT - End of the old-school bimmers- should have kept.. wanted 4drs
2014 Mazda CX-5 AWD GT - Not so boring excellence- continues to impress
2015 BMW X1 RWD Msport - Liked it, fast and still did donuts, e-steering=fail
2019 Hyundai Veloster N- 6MT or bust bitch (love that)fun/dollar untouchable right now(well BRZ but Veloster has a real back seat and smokes it)
