Disable SBCS/Brake Assist

Is there a way to disable the SBCS/Braking system? I drive a manual Mazda 3 with the entire purpose of controlling the car. I am unable to do so when the car suddenly brakes from 80 mph to 60 mph on the highway.

From what I've read, the system is composed of integrated units:

In case of computer failure, SBC reverts to a hydraulic master cylinder, but driver effort and stopping distance is reported to increase.[3] In case of pump failure the high-pressure reservoir is capable of retaining enough pressure to stop the vehicle electronically.

Are you sure you'd rather "pull the plug"? It may not be that easy.

On our 2015 Mazda 3 it can be disabled via the infotainment screen. It's similar in our 2017 CX-5 but that one resets so needs done each journey.
