Almost 16 years ago, I bought my Protege5 one week after seeing one for the first time. Ten days ago, I got him a little brother to push around. The pic below is the first I took of the new car, if that tells you anything about how much I love my P5.
Spoiler: The P5 is more fun to drive because: slow car fast.
I waited two years to buy the Miata because I have had such a great car that it didn't make much sense to buy another. But the mid-life crises was real, and so were the rebates - including the Loyalty Reward one (obviously).
