So Ive done quite a bit of reading and cant quite understand if people are running full penzoil synchromesh or 50:50 with 75-90? Im for sure using penzoil cause my work stocks it fairly cheap I just dont know how much?

I've never heard of mixing it.
I think you should go with straight synchromesh.
It works great when it's really cold out.... No grinding of gears.

Thats what I wanted to hear!! Thanks man, you are seriously so helpful on this forum!!

You're welcome.

When I had gear oil in the tranny I would grind every gear for at least twenty minutes in the winter until it warmed up.

Just an FYI...

Loosen your filler plug before removing your drain plug.

If your fill plug is seized you won't be able to get any oil in if it's been drained.

Thanks for the tip but this protege has a new transmission that came dry so I need to just fill her up!
