2001 Mazda Protege
2001 Mazda Protege 2.0 ES, recently got a P0421 code and Pending P0660 code.
I replaced a new Pre-CAT and P0421 code is gone. Both code gone after a test drive cycle. no more CEL, but car still stuck in Limp Mode.

I scan the car and showing the following readings under Live Data:

DTC_CNT = 0
Fuel Sys 1 = CL
Fuel Sys 2 = - - -
Load Value % = 15.3%
Engine coolant Temp = 95C
Short Term Fuel Trim = -1.6% to 0.8%
Long Term Fuel Trim = -7.8% to -8.6%
Engine RPM = 706
Ignition Timing Advance 1 = 8 degree to 10.5 degree
Intake Air Temp = 38C
Air Flow Rate = 2.07 g/s
Absolute Throttle rate = 0%
02 sensor B1S1 = 0.075 to 0.83v
Short Term Fuel Trim B1S1 = -1.6% to 3.1%
02 sensor B1S2 = 0.815v
Short Term Fuel Trim B1S2 = 99.2%

Would someone please help to look at the above Live Data and see what next should I do?
Any pointer will be appreciated & Thank you!

Was the ecu reset after the install? I'd do that, then start down the list, cheap stuff first...02 sensor, PCV and EGR valves, IAC and VIS solenoids (all pretty cheap and easy to replace) then maybe check the spark plugs and wires.

To reset the ECU on a Protege:
unplug the NEG battery cable...pump the brakes a couple times to drain any charge in the capacitors, wait 10 min. Now start the car up and let it idle for 5 min or so. While it's idling, it'll relearn the new parameters that have been introduced by the new cat.

Good luck!

I have changed the spark plugs and Coils last week.
Just ordered VISC solenoid , O2 sensors and will change it shortly.

Update:
I reset the ECU yesterday, will scan again once this driving cycle complete.
Still in Limp Mode at the moment & no CEL pop up. (peep)

This week I have replaced new PCV valve and a new rear catalytic converter.
I drove about 100 KM. I still stuck in limp mode and with no CEL.

Should I re-set the ECU again? Any advice will be appreciated.
