A simple question for 2018 Mazda6 with cylinder deactivation owners

    Hi everyone

I have a simple question for someone driving a 2018 Mazda6 with cylinder deactivation.

Does it also deactivate cylinders when transmission is in Sport mode?

I don't like the idea of cylinder deactivation and if there is no way to override it somehow, I won't be buying a 2018 6, but if it can be turned off in any way, such as driving the car in sport mode at all times, that would work for me.

    Thanks a lot

I have a 2019 3 with the same engine...no it doesn*t. In fact when playing around with it it felt like *sport* made it easier to slide into it. I have deactivated cylinders as low as 17MPH with *sport* mode on.
